After watching the Halloween edition of Dancing With The Stars and the rehearsal footage shown while Team Paso Doble practiced, a deeper story emerges. Mad Maksim wanted to redeem himself by staying in the competition. Chmerkovskiy was dealing with a broken toe and feeling the stress of improving Hope's chances of not being belittle by the judges. In the rehearsal footage of Team Paso Doble, Maksim smacks Hope's shoulder hard much to the shock of all who saw it. Maksim Chmerkovskiy has become cold and strong like prized Russian Vodka. In moderation it maybe ok but too much is bad. Maksim is lucky Hope didn't slap/smack him back.
That all being said, Hope Solo's dancing improved dramatically. Her foot work was much better. I don't think Mad Maks and Hope Float are going home tonight.
